COMPANY OVERVIEW
Since its founding in June 1971 First LandMark has organized 145 real estate investment ventures having acquired or developed properties in over 20 market areas in the Carolinas as well as in select markets in Georgia, Virginia and Tennessee.
Currently the company concentrates its efforts on the acquisition, financing, management and disposition of rental apartment properties, and on fee management for unrelated third parties of apartment communities, as well as selected office and retail properties.
Relative to rental apartments, the company is known for its current and prior holdings in viable, conservatively leveraged, and effectively managed investment ventures.
In undertaking its investment activities the company has frequently organized syndicated ventures and has participated in selected joint ventures.
Guardian Management, Inc., a wholly owned management, leasing and maintenance subsidiary, contributes significantly to achieving the company’s operating and investment objectives.
