First Landmark Bank opened as a community bank in March 2008. In October 2014, First Landmark Bank and Midtown Bank & Trust Co. merged to serve the banking market of north Fulton, DeKalb and Cobb counties in metropolitan Atlanta and grew to approximately $600 million through July 2018.
In August 2018 Landmark Bancshares, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary First Landmark Bank merged into National Commerce Corporation (NCC), an approximate $4 billion bank holding company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. READ MORE
NCC owns National Bank of Commerce and six other banks in Florida and Georgia, and their strategy allows for the banks to maintain their individual branding in the markets they serve. First Landmark Bank will continue to be promoted as FIRST LANDMARK BANK in the Atlanta banking market. Legally, First Landmark Bank will operate as a division of National Bank of Commerce.
